Q.  I am interested in baptism.  Is there anyone nearby where I might discuss baptism?  What can I do to be a help to Yahweh’s Assembly in Yahshua?

A.  We look forward to the Feasts when brethren join together here at Kingdom City (or at our Feast of Tabernacles' feast site) and the Elders discuss baptism with the candidates and answer questions.
            We would like to see qualified people guiding others into the deeper truth of Yahweh’s word all around the country. There already are such activities in the Philippines, India, the Caribbean, as well as Canada and England.
            Generally we seek a meeting place in a public building such as a town library, motel, or civic club which is fairly accessible and on the ground floor, if possible. We then set up a meeting date and time for the Sabbath, normally at 1:30 p.m.
            We send out invitations from Kingdom City to all those on our YAIY BEACON magazine mailing list for a radius of 75 to 100 miles, inviting them to the meeting. Following the meeting, we discuss with the group the possibility of a regular weekly or monthly meeting. Depending upon the response, it may be in the same location or another which may be more convenient for the majority.
            Generally someone from Kingdom City will come to the first meeting to welcome the visitors and answer questions that might arise and encourage them along the way. We also bring along a goodly amount of our literature and YAIY BEACON magazines. We usually have a question and answer session and discuss future meetings. Follow-up meetings could be with video or cassette tapes of our Sabbath meetings here in Kingdom city or by qualified individuals.
            We also are looking for responsible people to contact their local public access cable station to air our REVEALING THE TRUTH programs. Most stations will do so at no cost to us, but a local person must bear the responsibility to see to it the station gets the programs. The times are then listed in our YAIY BEACON magazine and on our website. The person to contact at the cable station is the program manager. Most are very helpful and glad to have videos for their many time slots.
