Feast Campground for 2010 – Complete Accommodations
Yahweh’s Assembly in Yahshua was blessed by Almighty Yahweh to reserve a beautiful, secluded, Ozarks campground in which to keep the Feast of Tabernacles this year (Sept. 24th-30th). The camp is Camp Woodland Hills, located 5 miles from St. Clair, MO., 37 miles southwest of St. Louis on I-44. The camp is easy to reach and easy to find. We will also be keeping the Last Great Day (the 8th day, Lev 23:36) on the 1st of October at this campground. The dates are, of course, contingent on the sighting of the 7th biblical new moon. We most likely will keep the weekly Sabbath at the campgrounds on October the 2nd.

A Huge, Modern Lodge
The modern lodge is fully heated and air-conditioned. It has a modern kitchen in the rear, with walkin refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, and all necessary utensils (If you use either the refrigerator or freezer please label each of your items). We may use the kitchen for individual as well as fellowship meals. The meeting hall in the lodge has a large fireplace and loft room. Downstairs off the carpeted, motel-like hallway are nine carpeted sleeping rooms, each with 8 built-in bunk beds and closets. Ample bathrooms and showers are located at the end of the hall.

Cabins with Heat, Air Conditioning
Close to the lodge are six large, carpeted log cabins all with heating and air conditioning. Each cabin is divided into two rooms. Each room sleeps 8 on built-in bunk beds with thick foam mattresses. Each room has a toilet, sink, and closets.

Camp Sites
There are 22 camper sites, 12 with complete hook-ups, and plenty of areas in which to pitch a tent.

Other Camp Information
Whether you stay in the main lodge or the cabins you are to supply the clothes hangers, towels, bedding, plastic mattress cover and sheets to be used as room dividers, if necessary. A modern shower house is situated near the cabins.

Restaurants and grocery stores are located nearby for those who need them. The lodge kitchen may be used for individual cooking

(if you use the lodge kitchen to prepare your own meals, you are
  Campfire
asked to clean up after you are done). More details concerning condiments that will be provided, and other meal information, will be forthcoming in the YAIY News. A Laundromat is located in St. Clair, five miles away.

Dress appropriately, as Missouri’s sometimes cool September-October days and nights demand warm clothing. But these days can be also warm and sometimes rainy. Prepare for any kind of weather. The campground does not allow pets, so please make arrangements prior to attending.

Transportation
Just a reminder that we are extremely busy before the Feast. Those flying to St. Louis should check on the availability of the Greyhound bus line (Toll Free 1-800-231-2222), which makes a stop at St. Louis terminal. If you give us enough notice, we may be able to arrange for someone to come and pick you up. Please note that the first meeting will be at 7:00pm Thursday evening (September 23rd), which starts the High Sabbath of the Feast of Tabernacles. Again, this date and time are contingent on the sighting of the Trumpets new moon the evening of September 9th.

Fees
The fee for all this is only $17.00 per person each night you stay. (Children under 5 free). This will allow one to stay in the downstairs of the Lodge at no extra cost. If one chooses to stay in one room of the cabins, there will be an additional charge of $12.50 per night regardless of how many are sleeping in that room. There is a planned fellowship meal for $3.00 per person, each day (one a day), except on Sabbaths. For campers, there will be an additional charge of $12.50 per night with A/C ($6 per

night without A/C).

An alternative emergency number is 1-573-826-1026 (cell phone of Elder David Brett) To get to the camp, take Exit 239 at St. Clair, MO. You’ll go about a mile south on the Service Road which is Parallel to I-44 on the west side. When you see the WW sign on the right, turn right on the WW and go for 5.2 miles. It changes to gravel at three-tenths of a mile before reaching the campground. Look for our signs.

Feast Observance
Come for a Great Inspiring Time. Yahweh commands us to observe His Feast days annually (Lev. 23:14, 21, 31, 41), and the Feast of Tabernacles is the highlight – the last of the yearly Feasts. Brethren have been saving their second tithes and other extra income throughout the year to be used for the Feasts. This is to be spent specifically for a memorable time of fellowship and worship of Almighty Yahweh – a command of Deut. 14:22-26.

Praise

Think on these things. If you have never attended a Feast of Tabernacles, make this your year of obedience. Prove Yahweh now herewith and see whether He won’t pour out His blessings. We of Yahweh’s Assembly in Yahshua try to keep Tabernacles much as did ancient Israel. We gather in temporary dwellings such as campers, tents, and lodges where we can be fairly close together.

Bible Studies
We sacrifice some comforts of home for a week and spend time
away from familiar surroundings. We try to be like obedient Abraham, who willingly left behind his friends, relatives, and family at Ur of the Chaldees, not knowing where he would end up. He, like us, had come to Yahweh believing that He “tabernacled” here on earth, seeking the celestial city of Yahweh described in Revelation.

Keeping the Feast of Tabernacles helps focus our attention on spiritual things. We hear the Bible explained and prophecy examined so that we know what is coming. We sacrifice our time and energy, knowing that our willingness to set aside our will in order to keep Yahweh’s Feast of Tabernacles will bring blessings now and rewards that are out of this world. We look forward to seeing you at the Feast this year! Bring a friend. Yahweh bless you in your willingness to serve Him through your obedience.
