And this evangel of the kingdom shall be preached
in all the world for a
witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Share Yahweh’s Word

Don’t be shy about  sharing the Word of Yahweh with others.  Don’t cover  up the  Proper Names of Yahweh the Father and Yahshua the Messiah thinking it might offend someone. They need to know to Whom they should be calling upon.

We must move forward as Peter, John and the other apostles did. “And when they had summoned them, they commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Yahshua. But Peter and John answered and said to them [the religious body, at that time, and those around them], ‘Whether it is right in the sight of Yahweh to give heed to you rather than to Yahweh, you be the judge;  for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard,’” Acts 4:18– 19.

As the scholarship advances and resources are readily available, more and more people are becoming aware of biblical truth.

If you receive the YAIY Beacon on a regular basis, it is an opportunity to share the deeper truths of Scripture with those of family and friends. Even leaving one at the laundromat  or doctor’s office is a great way to help. Don’t just throw the issues away when you’re done reading it. Share it with others!

There are, of course, other in-depth studies along with numerous mini-studies that can readily be handed out to others and left to where they can be easily found.  Time to do this is now.

The Urgency

While it may seem that things are getting bad in society, they can get much worse for truth seekers and the body of Messiah in general. There has already been persecution in areas such as China, India, Africa, and other areas against mainstream Christians, not to mention those who are teaching the deeper things of Scripture. Various groups are under attack around the world, while things are relatively calm at the moment for us in the United States.

Things can change overnight, no matter where you are in the world. An Associated Press release stated, in December of 2009, concerning the Jehovah Witnesses organization in Moscow, Russia: “Russia’s highest court has upheld a ruling that halts the activities of a regional branch of the Jehovah Witnesses and bans dozens of its publications.

“In September, a court in Rostov-on-Don outlawed the groups activities in the region, seized its assets there and labeled 34 of its publications extremist. The Russian Supreme Court upheld the ruling, a spokesman said.

“The list of banned books includes the groups signature magazine, The Watchtower. There are at least 160,000 Jehovah Witnesses in Russia.”

And thou shalt speak

my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

Nothing New Under the Sun

Just as there was persecution in times past, and even in our own time period, in other parts of the world, there will be persecution ahead of us, too.

While the Jehovah Witnesses proclaim a name that they justify using due to familiarity and tradition since the 14th century, we clearly see that Sacred Name of the Father is Yahweh, not Jehovah.

There is even more reason for persecution, because we use the Proper Name of the Messiah, Yahshua. While the scholars and linguists will admit that the Messiah’s Sacred Name means “Yahweh is Salvation,” they will still use the term/name “Jesus,” which doesn’t hold within itself any meaning other than what people attempt to put upon it. It is plainly just a mis-transliteration through at least three different languages, stemming from the original Hebrew or Aramaic.

End Time Countdown?

We want to make it clear there is no definite time in which we can pinpoint where we could find ourselves restricted from printing and sharing Yahweh’s Word, but if history is itself any indication, then we know it’s just a matter of time for such things to arise.

One group has stated that the end of the world is coming in October 21, 2011. Such date setting is just plain ignorant in light of what Scripture tells us. However, Scripture does tell us that time is running out and the countdown was started some time ago. So, what is the message for us?

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of Yahweh is,” Ephesians 5:15-17.

Can we also hear the message that was given to Timothy by Paul?  “I charge thee therefore before Yahweh, and the Master Yahshua Messiah, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables,” 2 Timothy 4:2–4.

There is Still Time

While we see that time is running out for the world in the very events and conditions of the world, we know that there is still time to share Yahweh’s Word with others. It’s easy enough, with free literature and other materials which can be given, and at this writing, we just received a call from the wife of an individual who received “The Mistaken J” from someone at work. The sharing of that one in-depth study, and some encouraging words, may end up saving a whole family. Let us follow the Messiah, and be about our Father’s work!

DVD Songs of Praise

New release of some previous Sing-A-Long songs, but now in a DVD format, is available for ordering. This was an unexpected blessing from a new believer that wanted to share his talents for Yahweh’s work and outreach. We trust it will be a blessing to all those that receive it.

Live 2010 Sing-A-Long

An all new Sing-A-Along CD is now available for ordering. The songs were sung at the 2010 Feast of Tabernacles gathering in St. Clair, Missouri sponsored by Yahweh’s Assembly in Yahshua. While there was some technical difficulty with the audio (only available in low quality sound) we still are hopeful that it will bring joy to hear praises in song to Yahweh.

Revealing The Truth, Best of 2010

A new Best of 2010 Revealing the Truth DVD, with a few of the best episodes from 2010, is now available for ordering. One of the episodes, which is called “Holliday Madness,” was featured on a recent Hebrew Nation Radio iPod cast prior to the Xmas holiday. We’ve been receiving calls from listeners saying they appreciate hearing the program. We are currently looking to add some new stations. If you know of one, let us know.

Video Issues Resolved

Videos have been having troubles  lately due to a main cable line, which has now been replaced. Its distorted signal was even causing problems when capturing to the computer for editing, causing even more distortion. We’re glad to see it has been cleared up as it was affecting both the Sabbath service and the Revealing the Truth videos sent out.

Upgraded Scan Converter

An older used professional grade scan rack mountable converter was purchased to create a stable and clear signal from the projector to the video switcher.

Basically the signal from a computer/projector set up is different than the video signal normally sent from a camera. This will cut down on time which would be otherwise used to insert images manually into the Sabbath service videos.

Middle Eastern Text vs. Western Text

  YAIY

Which came first? One mistranslated word (or letter) can make a world of difference. Take, for example, the two translations below. One is from Greek the other is from Aramaic:

Western: “For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die,” Rom 5:7.

Middle East: “For one will hardly die for a wicked man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die,” Rom 5:7.
